July 2015: Myers & Chapman wins Brick Industry Award for Charlotte Fire Department Headquarters

The Charlotte Fire Department Headquarters project has been awarded the 2015 Brick in Architecture Silver Award by the Brick Industry Association (BIA). Please see the website  www.gobrick.com/architectureawards for photos, BIA’s press release, and other information. Myers & Chapman was the General Contractor for this project and Leder Masonry completed the masonry work.

David Tobin, the project architect, commented that “the yearly BIA awards are the premier national design awards for brick architecture. We could not be more pleased that this project reflects very favorably on the design and construction team.  A project that we all can be very proud of.  Thanks to everyone at Myers & Chapman for building this challenging, but rewarding, project.”
